HELP!!!! (item q)
Hi, I have heard from many people that runes dont stack, so that leads me to this question....
I'm a warrior, and the 15k ascalon armor reduces damage - would this stack with a rune of absorbtion? also does it make a difference which armor piece you use the absorbion rune on? |

I'll probably get flamed for saying this... but I *think* that you can receive the benefit of an absorbsion rune placed on armor with ingrained absorbion. I know that back when I first stated, I did this exact thing and had 2 lines of "Reduces damage..." on my piece of armor. Now whether or not I was receiving twice the benefit.. no idea.
Someone correct me.. i know you want to |

And to answer your second question -- I would apply it to the chest piece.
I'm not certain that the absorption bonus ONLY affects the piece it is applied to (hopefully someone will chime in with some info about this, as it's a lingering question I have), but it would sure suck to find out you were only absorbing the damage dealt to your toes if it does... Besides, it's not like you're going to be salvaging anything out of that armour any time soon Go for the chest, I say! Last edited by Bingley Joe; Jun 02, 2005 at 05:30 PM // 17:30.. Yes, I am so very easily amused (and self-sufficient in that regard as well)! But what about this question of absorption runes? Does their bonus only apply to the piece of armour they're installed on? It's kinda like the Ithas bow: "Armor +5".. ok.. +5 to what? The bow? The knuckles wrapped around it? Or ME (the whole me)? |
